Much like cellulite reduction therapy, cellulite treatment methods
are hit or miss in their ability to rectify the fatty deposit
problem. It is agreed that cellulite is a problem and that it
is unsightly. In fact the cellulite phenomenon has been given
a variety of affectionate pet names by those plagued with it –
orange peel syndrome (the peel of an orange is speckled), cottage
cheese thighs (the cellulite looks like a bowl of chunky cottage
cheese), and of course it has been called the mattress phenomena.
But the truth is that is a painful disorder.
Don’t get me wrong, I am not insinuating that the cellulite
on your legs is painful or that if it is not painful now, just
wait and see. By no means am I suggesting this. But I do believe
that it is psychologically painful, that women plagued by cellulite
on lower bodies are distressed about it. Unfortunately the mainstream
medical community has not as of yet devised a solution to the
problem and the only programs supported by accredited physicians
lie within the arena of exercise, diet, and of course cosmetic
surgery – none of which seem particularly appealing.
So what
can be done to help treat that unsightly cellulite? It is believed
that over 80% of the world’s women have some sort of cellulite
on their lower bodies. That’s a whole lot of women. And this
is a whole lot of women with a whole lot of money to spend.
Keep this fact in mind the next time you are up late and watching
television. Keep this fact in mind the next time you are up
late and see a commercial offering the latest and the greatest
cream for the reduction of cellulite. Remember this when you
decide to buy the newest cellulite reduction cream. Remember
this the next time you use the new cellulite treatment cream
and it does not work as promised. Remember that there is no
truly effective cellulite treatment except for diet and exercise.
